Mechanics

Thorns damage is triggered by all Hits: This modifier enables thorns damage to be triggered by non-melee hits from enemies, including projectiles and spells.

When equipped with a source of self-damage (e.g. ), it enables the wearer to take thorns damage, enabling the ability to inflict chill and shock on yourself with Shaper of Winter or Shaper of Storms respectively.
