Payoff skills
Unleash seems to have interactions with payoff skills. Discussed here where Unleash Cold Snap (2 seals) causes three Cold Snap explosions, despite Cold Snap requiring an enemy to be frozen (first 'cast' would consume the freeze).
Based on the wording of Unleash, this may be intended - supported spells 'effects Reoccur for each Seal lost', with the effect being the hit rather than the consuming of the freeze. Testing needed to confirm with other payoff skills.
The same behaviour is not present for Elemental Equilibrium exposure for spells supported by Unleash - each hit triggers EE as expected (tested with Ember Fusillade - Unleash: only first hit gains increased damage from an EE exposure).
